Vehicle License Information

Effective January 1, 2010 citizens are no longer required to purchase a County decal.  A vehicle license fee will be added to your personal property tax bill as follows:

Cars and trucks  -  $20.00 if owned on January 1 of each year
Motorcycles  -  $10.00 if owned on January 1 of each year

  

(Note - This ordinance change does not apply to vehicles garaged in the Towns of Claremont, Dendron and Surry.)
