The Board of Supervisors recently approved the County's operating budget for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010.  Due to the reduced revenue projections that are a result of the recent economic recession, a number of cost saving measures have been included within this budget. One ofthose measures is the reduction in hours of operation at the County's Goodson Path and Pineview Solid Waste Collection Centers.  Effective July 1, 2010 each Collection Center will be closed two days per week and on major holidays in accordance with the following schedule:

Goodson Path Solid Waste Collection Center will be closed on Monday and Thursday of each week, as well as July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday.

Pineview Solid Waste Collection Center will be closed on Tuesday and Friday of each week, as well as July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday.

Solid Waste Collection Centers are open on weekdays from 7am - 7pm and on weekends from 8am - 4pm.
