Community Input Day for Tourism Development

WeNeedYourHelp

Wednesday, April 15, 2020     11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Virginia Tourism Corporation and Surry County Tourism Department staff will be onsite all day to receive information, whether it is "storied" or documented regarding specific sites, persons, and events significant to the African-American experience in Surry County.  Why?  Because we believe your story matters and that it should be told - unfiltered.  Information gathered at this event will be compiled and utilized to develop an African-American History Driving Trail through the County.

Staff will also be gathering community input regarding tourism projects that citizens may want to suggest for possible future development.

Location: Surry County Cooperative Extension Office, 45 School Street, Surry, VA

Contact Pat Bernshausen, DMO, Tourism Coordinator for more information.
